First light of Chanukah to Pay Tribute to sole survivor of Mumbai, India attack on Chabad family - 2 year old, orphaned, Moishe'le Holtzberg,
at The Boynton Beach Mall.
This upcoming Sunday Night, December 21 begins the eight day holiday of Chanukah.
Chabad-Lubavitch of Greater Boynton is sponsoring a special public Chanukah Menorah lighting at the JC Penny Concourse of Mall - 5:30 PM on Sunday evening, to launch the festival in its most proper form, publicly and through unity and joy.
Admission is free. Entertainment will be provided by the well known Guitarist Allan Lieberman, with a sing-along of Chanukah melodies to warm the hearts of all assembled. Hot latkes will be served.
One little Jew, one little light, of the five who were murdered, was miraculously saved from the merciless terrorist attack on The Chabad Center in Mumbai, India some two weeks ago. This little single light, was 2 year old Moishe'le Holtzberg.
Although tragically orphaned by the monsters of evil who slaughtered his parents, The Chabad Rabbi and his wife - his never to be forgotten heroic Indian nanny, Sandra - miraculously escaped the hell hole with Moshe, despite a barrage of gunfire attempting to kill her and the baby, as they fled.
In the spirit of the first light of Chanukah we will celebrate the miraculous escape of the baby, who has been adopted by the entire Chabad-Lubavitch movement and millions of hearts around the world.
Commissioner Burt Aaronson will be honored with lighting the first Candle and addressing the assembled, in launching Chanukah and in unity with millions around the world - and in special tribute to Moshe Holtzberg.
In Moshe's honor, each child who attends the Menorah lighting at the mall that evening, will receive a crisp $1 bill as "Chanukah gelt," as they join their brother Moshe, in celebrating Chanukah, with this tradition as well.
