JEWISH BOYNTON BEACH COMMUNITY & AREA HOMES

Orthodox or not. Ashkenaz, Sefard or Ari. Or even no "nusach" at all. It makes no difference at all.

At Chabad, all Jews are one. As the Rabbi oft declares; "Labels are for shirts not for Jewish souls." Judaism is not for us to be all-inclusive, rather each and every individual, born naturally to their Jewish mother, is an absolute equal to every other Jew.

In 1994 when Chabad first touched down in Boynton, its long-term vision was to create a Jewish center where every "type" of Jew would feel at home. To accomplish this, a campus large enough to facilitate all of the varying traditions that Jews have brought from dispersed corners of the world, had to be created.

This focus helped create the current extended family of members that represent many of Judaism's different cultural variations. To the degree possible, distinct styles of prayer have been accommodated through multiple Shabbat services.

It remains Chabad's long-term goal to create dignified sanctuary space for each of Judaism's respective styles of traditional prayer. Integral to this core vision is that each and every Jew be able to enjoy their "flavor" of traditional prayer under one roof and as one Jewish family. For this, the Chabad's future expansion onto its adjacent land is excitedly awaited.

Chabad’s Campus for Living Judaism has already created a burgeoning oasis of traditional Jewish life in the heart of  Boynton Beach, Florida. Judaism has magnificently come alive, through Chabad's network of Jewish community institutions servicing the entire age spectrum and demographic of the region's Jewish community.

Chabad's legendary pioneering Jewish community building efforts has created the newest, flourishing, traditional Jewish community that joins a national landscape of similar communities throughout the United States.

Through its renowned warmth and unquestioning acceptance of each Jew, Chabad has created a community in which no matter ones background, all will feel equally welcome and at home. This hallmark philosophy has impacted the lives of countless thousands and continues to be the central focus of Chabad and all it continues to endeavor to accomplish.

Indeed, the beauty of the Boynton Jewish community is the kaleidoscope of all types of Jews who live in the immediate area surrounding Chabad's Campus. Chabad’s unique style has endeared all types of Jews and has galvanized as extended family a current 600 family membership that is cohesive in truly rare form.

The Immediate Area

The Chabad campus is centrally situated on El Clair Ranch Road between Boynton Beach Blvd. and Woolbright Road. El Clair runs parellel to Jog Road and Military Trail on either side.

Within walking distance to the Shul are numerous residential developments appealing to a wide range of tastes, preferences, ages and budgets. From country club-living active adult communities to estate homes for larger families to condo seekers seeking great value and a terrific quality of life, it is all here.

Chabad takes special pride in two communities that were built adjacent to its campus.

In partnership with Paramount Residential, in 2003 Chabad began to design and market 55 estate homes in a community presently called Wyndsong Estates. These 4, 5 and 6 bedroom homes were built with all of the amenities any traditionally Jewish, young family would want. Kosher kitchens, large dining areas, play areas for the children, bus stops for day school buses made Wyndsong Estates a tremendous success. Having realized the demand, after selling out this community, built directly adjacent to Chabad’s campus,  Wyndsong Isle Estates was launched. This almost identical community of 44 additional homes is located about ½ mile north of the Chabad campus.

This second family community was sold out in record time. By 2006 all 99 homes were occupied. Hundreds of traditional Jews, these families, were excited to be part of this pioneering Jewish community building endeavor.

Throughout the years and up until present, as families see their live's plans change, re-sales of these custom designed estate homes become available.

Due to this and other surrounding communities influx of observant families, Chabad pioneered yet another ambitious endeavor. A large scale construction project was launched under strict, expert rabbinical supervision and a 50 square mile, city-wide eruv, was meticulously built. This eruv is carefully monitored and checked weekly by a small army of trained volunteers. Each spends a minimum of 1 hour each Friday, to ensure that their section of the eruv is fully intact.

Remarkably, through this massive Eruv the Shabbat observance of upwards of 75,000 Jews who live within its boundaries has been significantly upgraded and enhanced.

Below is further detail on each of the residential communities within walking distance to Chabad's Campus.
